In order not to ruin your home screen, recently downloaded apps from the App Store can be sent directly to the App Library. But what if you later want to open the app without digging through the library? How to move apps from the app library to your iPhone̵7;s home screen.
Start by swiping to the home screen on the far right of your iPhone to open the app library. Here you will find an app that is not already on the home screen. Long press the app icon until a menu appears.
Press the “Add to home screen” button from the context menu.
The application is moved and placed automatically on your home screen.
If you return to the App Library, if an app is already on one of your home screens (visible or hidden), the “Add to Home screen” option does not appear in the context menu. Instead, you must enter Jiggle mode.

Locate an app in your iPhone’s app library that is already on your home screen. Long press on the app icon. After a second, a context menu appears. Keep holding down the app until it appears on your home screen.
As mentioned above, you activate this route Jiggle mode (where your apps and folders bounce around on your screen). Hold down your app and place it wherever you want on your iPhone. Press the “Done” button in the upper right corner when you have finished moving the app.
If you do not find a specific app in one of the app library’s automatically generated folders, you can tap the search bar to find the application.
Use the alphabetical list to find an app. Press and hold the list until it is highlighted. The block will look like it hovers over the rest of the menu when selected correctly.
Without lifting your finger, move it left or right. You will be immediately moved to your home screen, with Jiggle mode enabled.
As before, place the app wherever you want on your home screen or drop it in a folder. Press the “Done” button in the upper right corner when you have finished reorganizing your layout.
