There is a whole world of wallpaper out there. Apple always includes a selection of wallpapers, some unique to each iPhone model you have. Of course, sometimes background images do not make it. Sometimes you want to add your own style to your home page and lock screen. In these cases, you can use an app to find the best backgrounds out there just what you need.
Of course you can always scour the internet for wallpapers. There are subreddits, forums and communities dedicated to sharing high-ranking favorites. But wallpaper apps – good, anyway – are always updated and give you easy access to cool, interesting and fun options.
Let's Get This Out ̵1; Many of the wallpapers found on the App Store draw the contents of Unsplash, a royalty free image service that is very proud of the pictures. Due to the high quality images on the site, Unsplash makes a great resource for iPhone wallpapers, for both users and wallpapers.
Although there are great wallpaper apps out there that curate some excellent Unsplash wallpapers for your convenience, sometimes there is nothing better than going straight to the source. Plus, by cutting the middle, you can search Unsplash's entire library, not just those images that a particular app seems good.
Not Walli. This app works with artists to design wallpapers exclusively for smartphones and devices. That means you have to find lots of wallpaper here, you will not see anywhere else. Better than you can touch the artist of your selected wallpaper to see all wallpapers of their in Wallis. It's just another way to find more wallpapers that match your special style.
Looking for something a bit dramatic? Vellum's choice consists of beautifully designed photographs and artwork, usually with a dark, sharp tone. Vellum draws images from third party sources, so you will see Unsplash here. That said, it is just one of many services that provide excellent choices to Vellum users.
When you find a photo you want, Vellum lets you blur if you want your apps to have a more pronounced focus on the home screen. The app is free, but you can pay $ 1.99 if you want to get rid of the ads.
You can also preview how a wallpaper will look on both a lock screen and a home screen without having to download it.
If you have a hometown pride, you may want to check out Atlas. The app is unlike anyone on this list because it does not contain a collection of photographs and artwork. Rather, the app generates a map of all cities, cities, or areas of the world that you can use as wallpaper. Talk about unique.
You can either enter a location in the search box, touch the location icon to select your current location or pin and zoom on the map yourself to select your area. Then you can choose a color scheme for your wallpaper. OLED-based iPhones look good with black backgrounds and colored lines. The free version does not allow you to choose 3D maps (that's $ 1.99 for that), but 2D looks great the same way.
Talk about control. Patternator is a wallpaper app that lets you create patterned wallpaper in a flash. You can not only use the app's own GIF and object to create patterns, but you can also use your own photos as well. Patterns go through how to make clip art with your photos, so you can make them unique unique patterns.
Whether you use your own image or any of the Patterns apps, it will tone be taken over to you. You choose the pattern itself, fine tune it pattern (eg scale, distance, angle, etc.), change the background color and adjust the color among many others.
While there are some cool Live Photo features hidden behind a paywall, the free app still gives you an overwhelming amount of options when it comes to still images.
