Face ID does a great job of keeping your iPhone safe, with an odds of millions and one to unauthorized access compared to Touch ID, which is 20 times less secure. But it's far from being really hands-free, because you still need to set up the lock screen when it detects your face to access apps. But if you have a jailbroken iPhone X, this problem can easily be solved.
For an older iPhone model, when you lift it to wake it up, the lock screen is displayed and when you press or rest on your finger on the Touch ID, depending on the settings, it opens automatically for the home screen or which app you last visited. For the iPhone X, the lock screen is displayed, it scans the face to unlock the lock screen, so you wrap up which I don't really make Face ID any faster.
Yes, it is very useful to unlock the lock screen if you have message previews disabled while locked, where the messages will appear when your face is scanned. But if you do not use it, would you not only want your iPhone to open after a scan without seeping? Thanks to SparkDev you can.
Appropriate name AutoUnlockX, SparkDev's jailbreak tweak is free to use and can be further adjusted according to your personal and security settings. When enabled, it allows you to bypass the scan altogether, unlocking your iPhone at the same time as the frighteningly fast-paced Face Unlock feature found on OnePlus devices.
: Install Sparks Repository
Before you can install AutoUnlockX, you must first add an external repo to either Cydia or Sileo, because tweak is not available in any app. When using the add-on source, enter the following URL. Be sure to add a "s" to "http" to ensure that repo downloads succeeded in the app.
Also, remember to add SparkDev repo in Cydia will not automatically add it to Sileo, and vice versa, so you need to manually add it to both programs if you often switch back and forth between the two. Make sure to read the guides below for more information on the process.
Step 2: Install AutoUnlockX
Enter "Search" for Cydia or Sileo, type "AutoUnlockX" in the search bar and select tweak when it appears. From there, tap either "Install" (Cydia) or "Get" (Sileo) from its Details page.
Now press either "Confirm" (Cydia) or swipe up the bottom of the "Queue" card and press "Confirm" next to it (Sileo). Afterwards, sit back and wait a moment or two for tweak to install, then click "Restart SpringBoard" to package the installation.
After your iPhone resprings, you still need to enable AutoUnlockX, then open the setup app and select "AutoUnlockX" from the main page. Then press the switch next to "Enable automatic unlock" to turn it on.
In addition, you also have the option of keeping up the screen by turning off tweak when your iPhone has messages, playing music or having the flashlight on – simply by tapping its corresponding switches. In such cases, you will probably not go beyond the lock screen, as you can interact with the content there.
You can also turn on "Enable Auto Retry", along with setting its range with the slider, to automatically try to scan your face again after unsuccessful attempts.
So make your choices according to your wishes and press "Respring" when you are happy to cancel your changes. Then use Face ID to unlock your iPhone as you normally would, and enjoy your newfound ability to get directly to the home screen or the latest app without having to swipe up.
