Update the drivers on your computer with a reliable driver downloader

In my experience, most computer hardware and software problems can be solved by updating the drivers installed on your computer. While the device manager promises that updates the drivers it rarely achieves the right result.

So if the device manager does not do his job, you might find a program that finds missing drivers, outdated drivers, and does all of this automatically or on a scheduled time.

The good news is that there are many programs that download drivers … and I mean a lot.

Driver Booster – Free and Premium $ 22.95 / Yr $ 17.21 / Yr

This driver loader is perhaps my personal favorite, and you should definitely check out this driver update if you want something decent free . In my experience, it has everything you need to get your laptop back to full-fledged mode. When the installation is complete, it scans for everything and tells you which drivers need updating. You can update them at once or select and choose and make them one by one. If a reboot is required, it is required. I didn't go for the paid version first because the free did everything I needed to do. But then I got the premiere version. For just $ 22.95 / year for 3 computers (which is cheaper than everyone else on this list), users get priority over others for driver updates, improved download speeds, and custom driver to optimize PC games (if that is your thing). If you are looking for a solid and versatile powerful experience, Driver Booster 4 will be highly recommended.

DriverEasy ̵
1; Free & $ 29.95 / Yr

DriverEasy is one of the extremely popular drivers for downloading drivers, and for good reason. DriverEasy offers a couple of different versions, including a free version. The program does exactly what you think it does, keeping your drivers up to date. It is more or less all the free version does, but the premium version offers all sorts of options. With the premium version, you can back up and restore drivers, download all the drivers with one click, and also provide a multilingual interface. DriverEasy also claims it is faster than a Windows update, which we unfortunately do not have time to test.

DriverNavigator – $ 89.95 $ 39.95 / Yr

It offers similar features as DriverEasy; it also restores drivers and automatic schedules for automatic update control. DriverNavigator also supports Win 10 systems like the rest, but the biggest drawback we found was the price tag, at $ 89.95 / Yr DriverNavigator is significantly more expensive than its competitors. It is currently on sales for $ 39.95 USD so if you want to get this, it is time … but if you think you will miss the sale, trust us, this is just one marketing gimmick – $ 39.95 is Price since two years 🙂

In addition, DriverNavigator gives many licenses right, so for 1 PC it is $ 29.95 and the above price of $ 39.95 is for 3 computers. They have a dropdown for 5, 10 and 50 computers as well.

UpdateStar Drivers 9 – $ 29.95 / Yr

This is one of the lesser known drivers for updating drivers out there, but it's still worth mentioning. Why? Well to begin with, you can download the program for free and run a search for missing or outdated drivers. If you want, you can buy their driver downloads for $ 29.95 (for 1 PC) and $ 59.95 (for 3 computers). It works in many ways like the others on our list and is compatible with Win 10 systems, but in my opinion the interface is a bit cleaner and easier to follow.

DriverMax – Free and Premium $ 10.39 / Yr

DriverMax is a great choice to update drivers due to its free options. It does everything for a driver loader, but it is completely free. You can scan and download new drivers and updates, as well as backup drivers for a compressed file (which is handy when reinstalling Windows). There are some amenities that are only available to pro members, but the free version should be more than sufficient for someone to look for a free alternative to other programs to safely update the drivers. There is a catch for the free version, the software will capture all the outdated drivers, but you can only download 2 drivers in 24 hours … I know, it's crazy, but if you wait 24 hours you can download 2 drivers open again. All paid plans apply only to 1 PC, so prices are $ 10.39 / year, $ 8.95 / month, $ 14.51 / 2 years and a lifetime plan of $ 29.80 is all available on DriverMax

These are just some of the many driver chargers available on the internet. While it ultimately comes down to personal preferences on these programs, they are all beating out the drivers one at a time and leaving the standard unit manager years behind, right? But that's just our opinion …

If your laptop is pre-installed with the manufacturer's update software and it also works as a device manager, you know that purchasing a driver charger is a good investment.
