Talking to Google Assistant on an iPhone is hardly new –in 2017. However, the process of getting to Google Assistant did not mean that the typical "Ok Google" or "Hey Google "command.
Instead, you must manually open the app or launch it with a widget. It worked, but only if you really liked Google Assistant.
With the release ofthird-party applications can be integrated with Apple's personal assistant. Importance Google can now use Siri to trigger Google Assistant.
To use the new Siri Shortcut feature in Google Assistant, make sure that the Google Assistant app is updated in the App Store (or install it for the first time here).
Then open the Google Assistant app, where you will immediately receive an instant message about creating the shortcut. Touch Add to Siri then press the red button and say the phrase you want to use to call Google Assistant. Sticking with "Ok Google" is an easy way to remember the phrase.
When done, call Siri, then use the new Google shortcut, followed by your command to Google. So, that would be something like "Hi, Siri. Okay, Google, how is the weather?"
You must test the command a few times to get a better idea of how long after saying "OK Google" you can proceed with the latter part of the command (the app needs a second to open, after all).
Of course, you want to use Google Assistant's more advanced features, or you can also ask Siri. But Google's AI server is constantly updated – here arethis year.
