Xbox Series S pre-orders are sold out: Check stock at Amazon, Walmart, GameStop and more

With the Xbox Series S, Microsoft changed the gaming platform bill. If you had assumed you would be plunder $ 500 for an Xbox Series X, there is a potentially more attractive option, especially if you do not have a 4K TV: The Xbox Series S will give US players back a much more modest $ 300. Unfortunately, it sold out quickly on the pre-order date on September 22, and unless more pre-order stocks arrive, you will now have to wait until November 10 for a chance to take one in retail.

Series S is a digital console (no optical drive) that has less power under the hood (mainly because it does not support built-in 4K resolution like Series X) and promises to be a much better deal for most players. Check CNET̵

There has been a lot of Xbox news in recent weeks, some of which may affect how you choose to buy your new Xbox. GameStop runs a business that you can get up to $ 200 in deposit credit when you purchase an Xbox Series X or Series S.. For example, your old Xbox One X or PS4 Pro is worth $ 200, while trading a 500 GB Xbox One can drop $ 100 off the price of your new Xbox. At the same time, Microsoft invites you to buy your next console more like a smartphone – on an installment plan. As part of Xbox All Access, you can get one Series S for $ 25 per month for 24 months, no cost in advance.

And if you’m still on the fence between Xbox and PS5, you should know that Microsoft has just announced a deal to buy ZeniMax Media, a parent of Bethesda Studios. If the deal goes through as planned, it would make Microsoft the owner of Doom, Fallout, Skyrim and other A-list franchises. Xbox CEO Phil Spencer recently said that Bethesda games will be offered on Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service at the same time as they end up on store shelves. They will also be available through Microsoft’s streaming service for video games xCloud, which enables people to play games over the Internet.

There’s a lot to look forward to, but you’ll probably have to wait until November 10 to get your Xbox Series S if you missed the pre-order. That said, who knows – you may be lucky. We have compiled all the major retailers that offered the console for pre-order, and you can check in occasionally to see if any stock is coming. If we hear about a new wave of pre-orders, we will update this page with all the details.

Best Buy was the last retailer, but it too is now completely sold out on Xbox Series S consoles.

Amazon’s Xbox Series S order page shows “currently unavailable.” You can click on the yellow Email me button to sign up for availability updates.

It looks like Newegg is out of stock, but you can sign up for a message when more stock is available.

Walmart also shows the S series as out of stock, but you can sign up for a “stock alert” to be notified when more devices are available.

GameStop’s pre-order stock is out of stock.

Target is currently reporting: “Pre-orders have sold out. Come back on release date.”

If in stock, you could buy the console directly for $ 300 or choose the Xbox All Access plan, which includes the Series S and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It costs $ 25 per month for 24 months. But Microsoft is out of stock.
