The Alt-Tab shortcut allows you to switch between apps and applications on your Windows computer. Just like your computer, your Android phone has the same feature baked to switch between new apps just as smoothly.
With Android 10, the switching between apps is now much more fluid thanks to full-screen navigation gestures. However, if your device does not have the latest Android version, you still have the ability to quickly go back and forth between your two latest apps using the latest app button.
Android 10 & Above
Samsung's old gestures
If you use gestures that Samsung introduced in its One UI 1.0 version of Android 9, swipe up twice from that trigger area you assigned to be the latest apps guest. By default, it is the tab at the bottom left.
So Android 10's gestures really shine here and Samsung's gestures are definitely the most troublesome, at least when it comes to quickly switching back to apps that you recently used.
